Step One:

Begin by painting in the sky with the pink and orange paint. Allow each color to blend into each other to create a simple sunset.

Step Two:

Take you paper towel and dab away at the bottom center of the sunset to create the sun setting in the sky.

Add the blue paint to the bottom section of the painting. Keep the first layer of blue light, then add darker blue paint to the horizon. This will give the painting the right perspective. Then while everything is still wet pick up some paint from underneath the sun area to give the appearance of the sun’s reflection.

Step Three:

Lastly, once your first layer of paint is dry, take your dark green paint mixture and tap in the shape of grass along the bottom of the painting.

Use the belly of the brush to create deep sections of grass area, then switch to the tip of your brush to create some thin grass blades.

And there you have an easy watercolor seascape painting!
